Music, Music, Music...I love writing, performing, recording, mixing, mastering, editing, guitaring, bassing, even drumming, sure some singing too, and some harmonizing. Poetry and lyric writing, and some novel writing (number 1 is coming soon, not really) Hiking, running, swimming, baseball, football, tennis, raquetball, golf, soccer, and skiing. Woodworking and construction. Building anything. Lovemaking, sex, and even screwing.
James Hetfield and all the guys from Metallica(except maybe Lars)...especially Cliff...but not too soon on him. Edgar Allen Poe, Hemingway, Dickinson (Emily, Bruce, and yes even Earnest so I could punch him in the face for that godforsaken Moby Dick), Winston Churchill, FDR, JFK, GWB just to see if there really are strings attached to Cheney's hands, SOAD, Iron Maiden, Patton, Osama, Victor Wooten, Jimmy Paige, Rob Plant, Jimmy Hendrix, Cream, The Beatles, Charlie Parker, Cannonball Adderley, John Coltrane, Stravinsky, Beethoven, Bach, Chopin, Rachmaninof, and many more I'm forgetting...
I write and record a lot of my own music, probly around 35 - 40 songs. Mostly metal of the death variety. I play bass, guitar, and sing on all of them. I dabble in some drums and I play some piano. I also compose classical music and some written jazz. But, I've been in metal bands, jam bands, funky bands, rock bands, and classical orchestras. I love anything that has a soul and/or something to say. I'm not big on goofy popy crap with nothing but $$ in their eyes. I love music for music and the power it has, I am kind of a snob a little bit. I don't mean to be, but I love what I do so much that I can't stand to see it tarnished. It's funny that my favorite kind of music is heavy metal, but the music that I hate the most is badly done heavy metal. I'd rather listen to pop.
