Death Valley (DV), as a matter of fact, was set up on 20th June 2007. The first formation was Wiro (ex. Senoritis), Ary (ex. Trombosit), Hengky (ex. Total Rusak), Doni, and Jefri.
By the running of time, Jefri was out from DV because the difference of our way in play the music. We couldn’t take Jefri with us again.
On the 11th September, Rio has replaced Jefri until now. Actually, on the first time Rio came up, he was just our additional guitar. But now, he’s such a sick-guitar player that take in part of us.
DV is a metal band in which has heavy growling vocal style, with notching and catchy melody, and beautiful trashy tunes. Makes you wanna destroy your own head and crash your body.
Our influences are Sepultura, Decide, Suffocation, The Black Dahlia Murder, and Pantera. Well, the musics we made are obviously mixed up with those bands’s sounds and of course our own sounds.
We make songs that mostly talk about social issues, depression, and reality of this life. Since we formed this band, we have had some songs, those are: 1. Pemuas nafsu setan 2. Nurani hitam 3. Ayat-ayat sesat 4. Laknat!!! 5. Depresi diakhir kehidupan
Perhaps, DV is kinda a new band. But, we’re ready to participate in the underground music scene, mainly in the metal scene. DV has pushed forward to keep on rocking like we won’t meet again tomorrow. No matter whoever you are, everytime in all days, just shoot our heads and make your turn on us! Yeah it’s DV’s time, baby!!!
