The Awakening is a well blended mixture of Screamo, Metal, and Hardcore that inevitably comes together as a well thought out heart felt, catchy, and clever sounding style, that proves to be easy on the ears and intense all in one. Coming from past variations of Long Island bands, we have come together to create a unique sound. Between singing/screaming transitions and melody we try to make you feel the music with your heart and your hands. Based out of Long Island, New York, we hope to prevail on the music scene with a debut ep by July of 2008.
