Lots and lots of new stuff as you can see! We have a new layout, new info, stuff changed around and tons of stuff to come. We just posted the info for the comeback/reunion show to be held March 29th. We hope to see everyone there! Tickets are for sale now in our store at http://sorryforthesilence.bigcartel.com. You must pre-order the tickets and we will send them for free due to issues with the venue (sorry about that) Also we just put the cd back up for sale for only 4 bucks! So if you still don't have it nows your chance to get it! Hope everyone is as excited to see us and hang out as we are to play! Keep checking back for more updates as the date gets closer :)

Sorry for the Silence is finally back for more, to the great relief of the Maryland music scene. It could be said that the band never really left--the boys branched out into different bands, continuing to do what they love, but it was always evident to their fans that something was missing.
When the band first formed in 2006, it was just a small group of friends hoping to start something that could withstand all the other local bands in the area. After a few member changes and additions, Sorry for the Silence finally emerged with 6 talented members, a solid set list, and a following that was growing more and more everyday.
The following summer was packed with practices and playing shows, writing music and being in the studio. After months of hard work and countless hours, the writing, recording, changing, re-recording, and stressing over vocal and keyboard lines, "We Are Both But Human" was finally complete.
The EP release show turned out to be more than any of the members expected: 900 people were present on the December 9th, 2006 show and 200 albums were sold.
A flurry of playing shows in different cities and states resulted, and the members of SFTS soon began to wind down. Eventually they called it quits, and each member went off into his own direction, most joining and contributing to other bands in the area.
After a 5 month hiatus, the band has finally returned. They've traded playing music to be heard, for playing music because it's what they love to do. Realizing the fun, friends, and love for music they had lost, the members have gotten back together to form a newer and more evolved Sorry for the Silence.
Despite a couple lineup changes, their sound will stay true and original to what they once set out to make. The band is currently playing and writing new material, and hopes to have a full length out by the summer
With a fresh new attitude and a drive to make great music for their audience, SFTS is happy to finally be back with their fans and friends. In the end, hope for a reunion show couldn't have been less inevitable, and a comeback is just what their audience--and the band--needed.
