I can be a great listener when I actually stop talking & I am a huge Howard Stern fan. **I am a horror movie fan. This love started when I was 4 years old when my dad took me to see The Amityville Horror at the Old Waverly Theater ~ from there my interest in horror films grew. I just love movies in general ***I dunno - I am cool chick who maintains a professional job in the corporate cubical world yet can come home and throw jeans and a tee shirt on and just be myself. ***I love hanging out with my friends & laughing, going out to eat and having good conversations, going to horror conventions and concerts. ( music plays as big of a part in my life as movies do ) I do laugh when I see people fall, that is still funny to me no matter how old I am. At least I can admit it.

My Interests

Movies, books, writing, friends, movie conventions, my cats, good conversations, other peoples life stories and any type of comedy I can find in people & life.

Christopher Walken, Steven Speilberg, Michael Stipe ,B.B. King, Robert Rodriguez, Kurt Russell & Rick Baker.

Music:

I grew up on everything from oldies to punk to classic rock so my tastes are all over the board. I love the Beatles and I love Elvis ( some say I am obsessed... does having a life size cut out of the King in your bedroom make you obsessed? )I love Buddy Holly, Bobby Darin, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, BB King, Buddy Guy, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Joe Bonamassa, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin & Tom Petty.... I grew up on classic rock and punk/alternative, go figure.But I still love my Faith No More, Fugazi, 7 Seconds, The Bouncing Souls, Less Then Jake, Social Distortion, The Descendents, Pietasters, The Smiths, Morrissey, R.E.M, INXS, Old School Depeche Mode, The Cure, The Clash, The Slackers, Against Me, Bad Religion, Nerf Herder, LagWagon, Coldplay, Blondie, The Cars, Joy Division and many more.... Too many to name actually.

Movies:

Mainly horror movies are what I watch and collect. I am a fan of Universal Monster films, Godzilla films, Planet of the Apes and of course National Lampoons European Vacation. The 80's made the best comedies. ** Here is a short list of some of my favorite directors ** George Romero, Fulci, Dario Argento, Robert Rodriguez, Q. Tarantino, John Carpenter, John Landis, Takashi Miike, Don Coscarelli, Larry Cohen, Tobe Hooper, Steven Spielberg, Wes Craven, David Lynch, David Cronenberg & Akira Kurosawa.

Television:

My must sees for the week are The Gilmore Girls, The Office, ER, Dexter & Masters Of Horror. The X-Files, MST3K, Home Movies, Dr. Katz and the original Twilight Zone are favorites of mine as well.

Books:

Any book by Art Bell, Richard Matheson, William S. Burroughs & Hunter S. Thompson. Any book featuring Alex Ross' Artwork - Kingdom Come & Peace on Earth are my favorites. Currently reading a new pickup - Last Train To Memphis & The Girl Next Door - Jack Ketchum - he is an incredible author.
