The Allegations

In late 2007, Ben Sinister (Jaguar Paw guitarist) figured out how to write songs after two decades of floundering. With Scott LaRose on bass and Janet X on drums (both from the Aurora Roarers), the Allegations played around Seattle from July 2008 to March 2009, opening for the Zack Static Sect and Pierced Arrows.

Allegations Mk II is in the works. In the meantime, enjoy some cheesy four-track recordings with drum loops. Call these songs Old Wave, Adult Punk, or Two-Minute Rock. They represent a return to when rock and roll was the dominant music of youth culture. A song could be loud and catchy, meaningful and fun. The result is a sound stuck in the past, but is anyone really breaking new ground anymore?
