The Rich Evans Band

About Me

A fixture on the London circuit for several years - either solo or with former bands The Mariachis and The Lucky - Rich Evans has established a reputation as a first rate singer-songwriter and a compelling live performer (as evidenced by the top 10 placing of his song 'Rooster Gonna Crow' in the International Songwriting Competition Americana category for 2006.)

'Blue Country Eyes' was the first outing by Rich with his new band and was released in October, on the 'Studiophonics' label. Following this will be the currently-in-production 'Circus Blues'.
Past career highlights for Rich include large European festival appearances in support of Bill Wyman, Joe Cocker and Jimmy Cliff. His music has also received national radio play on BBC Radio 2 (including on the Bob Harris show), as well as having been featured on a number of syndicated European radio stations.
Frequent visits to the United States have resulted in a number of musical collaborations, and co-writes with notable artists such as Nashville-based Buddy Mondlock and Sandy Dillon (One Little Indian Records) have contributed to the unique blend of original Americana, country and blues stylings present on Blue Country Eyes.
Rich's new band is made up of a group of musicians hand-picked for their passion, talent and experience, the combination of which makes for a great live show, as well as a riveting listen on record! (Of course, they're also a bunch of all-round nice guys!)
Rich is also working on a solo US recording with Stoneagle Music. For more details see www.stoneaglemusic.com
