"One of the most refreshing sounds of 2007" - Alternative Addiction.com "Best Band - Graffiti Magazine" "Best Unsigned Band" - WVAQ Radio "Best Live Act " - Graffiti Magazine The New Relics are quickly becoming one of the region's favorite live bands. Touring relentlessly throughout the East Coast, the band quickly discovered what is really important in music: energy, diversity, accessability, and heart. They deliver night after night, town after town. "We try to make sure there's something for everyone at our shows," says frontman Mike Arbogast. With creative lyrics, strong melodies, and an energetic rock and alt-country sensibility, The New Relics deliver great music that everyone can enjoy and hum on their way home.
With four CDs under their belt, "Casting Stones," "Hard Road," "Live at the Red Dog," and"Chasing Venus," the band is looking to the future. Spreading the music is the number one main goal of the group. "We just enjoy having people listen to our music and come out to the shows." says drummer Bryan Martin, "If we can brighten someones day and drive home, then we are doing our job."
Currently supporting their single release "Pictures" on pop radio. Audiences nationwide have latched onto the band. Radio has embraced the song as a sure hit, with stations nationwide adding it to their playlists weekly. "I loved them on the first listen" said Tim Phillips at KLAN-FM. The song has stayed in Clear Channel Radios Top 100 for more than 10 months.
Comparisons have been made to Pat Green, Keith Urban, John Mayer, and Train, but TNR has created a vibe that is uniquely their own. Their smart songwriting and positive energy have allowed the band to sit on the corner where rock and country intersect. The New Relics love where they are musically and hope that fans will enjoy what they are all about.
Take a journey down the road where great rock, country and americana intersect at every corner, The New Relics will be there waiting for you.
