RED LIGHT

Il negozio Red Light nasce nel 1992 da un'idea di Lorenzo e Lara, esso è sito in una delle più belle piazze di Firenze, Piazza San Lorenzo, e piu precisamente nell'antico palazzo dell'Osservatorio Ximeniano.
Durante il giorno la Pza. di San Lorenzo ospita gran parte dell'omonimo mercato, ma dietro il rumore e colore delle sue bancarelle, spiccano tanti palazzi quattrocenteschi e cinquecenteschi, tra questi il Palazzo Medici-Riccardi.
Al n.6, davanti alla facciata della basilica, l'Osservatorio Ximeniano, fondato come osservatorio astronomico nel 1755 dal gesuita Padre Ximenes è oggi un importante centro meteorlogico e sismologico e comprende anche due biblioteche importanti.
In questa "buca" (tipico negozio fiorentino dal 1100, circa) troverete sicuramente l'articolo che desiderate insieme ad una cordialità ed una simpatia unici.

Created by Lorenzo and Lara, the "Red light" shop was opened in 1992. Situated in one of the most beautiful squares in Florence, San Lorenzo's square, the shop is located in the ancient "palazzo Ximeniano". In the daytime San Lorenzo Square hosts the most part of the San Lorenzo market, but behind its carts you can find many 400th and 500th century buildings, one of these is the "palazzo Medici Riccardi".
At the n. 6 in front of the entrance of the basilica there is the "osservatorio Ximeniano," founded as an observatory in 1755 by a gesuit priest: Padre Ximenes.
This palace is an important metereological and sysmical center, it holds two important libraries. In this "buca" (typical florence shop) surely you'll find what you're looking for together with friendly service.
