The Duvtons are an Australian Punk rock band formed in the early eighties that continue to pump out the hits to this day. The original line up consisted of Mr. Marvel Galer,Johnny Cannons, The Pieman, Ludwig Von Slothhands and Hot Line. Hot Line struggled with addiction his whole life and in 1983 he was found dead in his hotel room. The Victorian Coroner initially determined that Hot Lines death was due to an overdose but further analysis of the witness statements claim that it may have been due to a bizarre sexual act involving a hotel worker and a performing animal that was later only referred to as Lucky. L.A born notorious street hustler, Kiz became the Duvtons new drummer. With Kiz on drums the band found new life and pumped out hit album after hit album. Albums like OsamaRama and Bigger Than G-Sus gained them world wide attention and in 1991 they were awarded a Grammy Award for best hard rock performance. Two more albums followed and received gold record status. But the strains of celebrity life began to take their toll on The Duvtons as their personal lives frequently became front page news. Mr. Marvel Galer much publicised relationships with wealthy socialites and rehab attending actresses drove him to severe alcohol addiction resulting in himself attending that same San Antonio rehab clinic. Despite several court orders and interventions Johnny Cannons refused to attend the same rehab clinic and is rumoured to still be struggling with his addiction to this day. As a direct result of his band mates troubled personal lives, Ludwig Von Slothhands took the higher ground and found comfort in religion. He is now referred to as Brother Von Slothhands. The pressure of international super stardom became all too much for The Pieman as recent reports claim that he has "Lost touch with reality". His embarrassing speech and abusive ad-libs at the MTV Music Awards later confirmed the fact. Kiz became disillusioned with The Duvtons lack of progress and turned to the production side of things. His hand picked Crunk Rap group G-Money Bitches achieved minimal success with their debut album "Hoe Down". The past few years has yielded little activity from The Duvtons camp and most feared that they had finally broken up. But a press meeting on February 19 2007 was called and attended by all members of The Duvtons to announce they are about to release a Greatest Hits album of 10 songs. No tour has been announced as of yet as the question was coyly averted by Mr Marvel Galer. "Were gonna wait and see how the album goes first. I bet a lot of people don't even remember who we are.
