I've been in LA for a few years now and I like meeting cool people to discover new places and revisit old favorites with. smart, witty, down-to-earth folks who have their acts together and can appreciate individuality and intellect, good food and fine wine, and aren't afraid to let their inner children run wild & free.
i'm basically a rock'n'roll girl, but i like all kinds of music (well, except country). there's so much good music out there, it's hard to narrow it down to fit in this little box. some of my favorite stuff in my collection include aerosmith, alice in chains, audioslave, beatles, billy idol, black eyed peas, blondie, bob dylan, boston, the cult, david bowie, the doors, the doobie brothers, drowning pool, godsmack, inxs, jethro tull, liz phair, metallica, moody blues, neil young, revolting cocks, simon and garfunkel, sublime, taj mahal, thievery corporation, u2, rob zombie.
my list goes on and on and on.....
jeezus... again, hard to narrow down. some of my favorites for the kid in me are the princess bride, bedknobs and broomsticks, mary poppins, the neverending story, aladdin. other favorites include the doors, bram stoker's dracula, the crow, beetlejuice, the abyss... oh hell, i can't remember them all. oh yea, and i really dig foreign films (especially france's the brotherhood of the wolf).
I'm a student by night, so I don't have time for T.V. anymore... not that I mind.
Currently the only reading I get done is my textbooks for school... maybe when this year is over, I'll have time to do some real reading. Two of my favorite books are "Marley and Me: Life and Love with the World's Worst Dog" by John Grogan and "The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini. "Who Moved My Cheese?" by Spencer Johnson is a great little book on perspective and change. And I love books by Anne Rice and Cliver Barker.
my parents, my family, my friends, the Dalai Lama, and anyone who's ever sacrificed their time or their life so others can be better off. and yes, i support the men and women of the US Armed Forces... just don't get me started on their commander-in-chief (geeeeez-uuuusss).
