LNP was started in 2008 by two mid twenties African American women living in the Boston area. The head founder (Jamila G.) is not new to the rigors of promoting such events, as she has done so successfully for nearly 3 years at a multitude of venues. Entering this new endeavor with 3 years prior experience, LNP was started with a special addition (Jamila B.) With a new year fresh minds and fresh goals LNP has maid its mission to create a more inclusive environment for LGBT persons of varying backgrounds in Boston and surrounding cities. It is the goal of LNP to not only have different club Nights but also to sponsor after work gatherings with entertainment, round table discussions of Concerns of the LGBT community, heath concerns and Awareness issues...HIV prevention, breast and ovarian (sp) cancer etc. Other initiatives are being implemented such as meet and greet nights, networking Workshops and having different guest speakers who are Representative of professional LGBT Persons and businesses. LNP not only wants to satisfy and quench the entertainment needs of our community but also serve and assist in the upward mobility of our community. Please help us do this by supporting, volunteering and enjoying our events. OUR goal for 2008 is to bring you the best Queer events possible. LNP and other groups geared towards women of all races, ethnicity and sexuality will be brining you some of the best social, professional and party events of the year. "Sweetest Taboo Fridays" is every Friday at shine from 10pm till 2am with Dj Ron steele. LNP is also hosting weekends to Puerto Rico (Friday to Monday) for great LGBT getaways.
