History!!! As for fiction, Catcher in the Rye, Black Boy (by Richard Wright), The Hobbit are probably my old faves. I'm also a bit obsessed with Middle English works, namely Malory and other Arthurian romances (gawain and the green knight), as well as other classics (Homer!!!). I'm a big fan of short story, and I also read some experimentalish stories and poetry (James Joyce is my hero, even though I've never successfully read anything he's written.) Imagist and modernist poetry also, like Ezra, Eliot, Marianne (1st names, of course).
