About Me

After the untimely passing of a close friend in 2004, the founding members of Bellfield started writing music to carry on his spirit. This loss has undoubtedly helped to shape the band’s music into its highly structured, yet occasionally ethereal, alternative rock sound. With the addition of a few members, Bellfield continues to adapt to the tendancies of its members but more importantly, its listeners. Keeping an open-minded, collective approach to song-writing, the band is never short on ideas or opinions. This approach only adds to the dynamic chemistry of the newly reformulated group.
In the short time Bellfield has existed, its members have already shared the stage with artists such as Carbon Leaf, A.L.O., The Monkees, and John Popper. With multiple local television appearences and regular regional radio airplay, the band’s fan base continues to grow. Bellfield has toured many parts of the Southeastern United States and will soon extend their reach.
With a new sense of ambition, Bellfield continues to define it’s sound and expand its horizons, always looking toward what lies ahead...
