photography, painting, going to see dances at the BAMâ„¢, losing time in the Strandâ„¢ bookstore, finding the perfect beach with warm water-perfect waves-and no one in sight, i have a garden here in the city that is the fortress of solitude with a dogwood tree, ferns, heuchera, french strawberries, and anything else that will take the limited downtown sun, in the last three years i have travelled to; Buenos Aires, Ushaia, spent a month on a Russian icebreaker in Antarctica, Paris, Geneva, Zurich, Rome, spent a month in Venice on the Canal de Misericordia (spelling?), spent a month in nortern Kenya in a tent in the Samburu lands near Somalia/Eithiopia, a month in Borneo in the jungle with Iban tribe guides, and next month (october) will be spent in Belize. i have three guitars and have had a guitar since i was 11, but i won't admit to playing (thankfully for others),as far as my boro goes; i like both villages, chelsea, tribeca, lower east side, soho, chinatown, little italy (little, little, little italy), gramercy park, but i dont go above the 30's all that much unless i'm going to a museum, uptown gallery, or central park.i think i am really lucky to be able to work with the people i do, and to travel to the places i get to go. there are interesting, smart, creative, and beautiful people everywhere and the fun is meeting them and seeing just how amazing the world is.
