Any Good Keyboard Players Out There!

About Me

Hi everyone I'm Hector, I have 2 songs I would like to share with you and I have some pictures on my site. The song "Diamonds in the Rough" was written by my friend and guitar player Charles Lallo. He and I performed this song @ the "Hazel St. Pub" in Cliffton, New Jersey. Their's a little problem with the quality of the song I will replace this song and add more songs when Charlie and I start to rearranging and record our material. He and I are trying to get a group together called "EARTHEART" (click the website link for more details). We're looking for a keyboard player to complete the group and help us rearrange our material; just a trio for know. But do to personal issues we don't have the time right know to start the project, so we're going to put it on hold for the moment. The music we want to experiment with is a fusion of different styles: Jazz, Rock, Funk, New Age, Ethnic music, etc (No Heavy Metal or Thrash). If there are any keyboard players or musicians interested in this project or any musicians that would like to jam with me on the side please send me a message. We eventually would like to have a 6 piece band God willing, consisting of a rhythm guitar player, lead guitar player, bass player, keyboard player, a drummer, and a percussionist, along with a horn section and back-up singers. The song "Silent Witness" was written by Kevin Bertotti, who is a song writter and producer. Kevin is producing a TV reality show in which I was a part of called "100 Songs in 100 Days", check out the website: www.100songsin100days.com. About me: I'm from Hoboken, New Jersey born and raised. I've been playing music for almost 20 years. I started playing drums seriously when I was 14yrs old. I took some snare drum lessions in high school with my music teacher Mr Enrico, who taught me some basics and my friend George, who I met in high school also. I started playing the drum kit when I was 15yrs old again with the help of Mr Enrico, who gave me my first drum kit that was laying around in the drum room. I taught myself how to play the drums by listening & playing to the groups and drummers I admired and, I also went to music school for a year to learn some fundimentals. These days I'm relearning and learning new things to help improve my playing. I also play two foreign instruments; one is called an "Egyptian Tabla" and the other a "South Indian Frame Drum". I've been playing these two drums for about 12yrs or so. I was in a few musical projects in the 90's: some experimental prog rock & ethinc music projects. I come from a musical family, my older brother Irio is a professional bass player and composer and, my middle bother Robert plays drums for fun. I became interested in playing music when I was 9yrs old when MTV first came out in the early 80's and through the influence of my brother's. As a person I'm very down to earth & easy going. I have interests in spirituality and the supernatural. I feel that there's something more going on in the universe than what we see with the naked eye, would you agree? Their's a DVD called "The Secret" it's about the "Law of Attraction" the secret about life (www.thesecret.tv) check out the website you won't regret it. Take care everyone!
