About Me

My name is Huy. I'm an artist in Philly. Was born in Vietnam. Came here when I was 7. I've lived several different lives. Got enough stories to fill a few books. I'm an asshole trying to pretend to be a good guy...or is it vice versa? I'm complicated, I'm simple, I'm hard to please, simple things make me happy, I'm a contradiction but not a hypocrit. I'm very fluent in scarcam. If you get offended really easily then we probably won't get along. Some days I'm happy...some days I'm sad. I'm just living day to day in my own lil world. I love my friends. I don't get to see them often. Often times I feel like I'm alone in Philly.I've been involved in art as long as I can remember. My parents should have seen it coming. I'm a disappointment to them. My art is my take on the world. It's vague, but it's more than meets the eye. I will rarely explain my work and tell you what it's about. I like the viewer to make up their own stories...and that way they have a personal connection to the piece.

Guilt written across my face

It was the wish of a dying old man to see his grandkids again.  On the walls he wrote the names of the grandkids that left so long ago and sat and waited for us to come back.  Twenty-two yea...
