Get your own slideshow on RingoMy name is Lisa and I am 25yrs old. I am one of 5 children in my family, and unfortunately I'm the oldest.....or as I like to refer to it "the tester child". I believe every 1st child cops it the worst as they basically are the test child. Parents try all the different parenting strategies with the eldest, EXCEPT the one where they relax (as they have done for my youngest brother) and let them make their own mistakes!I have a sister and 3 brothers, plus 2 cats (one lives inside and one lives outside cause they hate each other). My most prized posession is my guitar (fender acoustic), I have had it for about 1 1/2yrs and I have told my mum that if the house is on fire, the first thing she must grab is my guitar! Guitar is about the one thing in my crazy insomniac life that relaxes me.....pitty now I'm back home with the other 4 siblings and 2 parents I really don't get a chance for peace to play it!I work as a travel agent and that on it's own is very demanding and a good challenge every day. I enjoy learning about the world and dealing with the issues that arrise from time to time, keeps me interested. I also have been travelling quite a bit myself. I have been to America where I spent a week in LA/San Francisco and then 2 weeks with a host family in Phoenix, Arizona. A couple of years later I spent 3 weeks in New Zealand on a contiki tour, I went on my own with a bus full of complete strangers which was very daunting but an experience of a lifetime. Met a great group of people and visited some of the most breathtaking places ever...also ran a muck!I have travelled along the coast from Perth to Broome. I have been with work to the Gold Coast, and Bali. Plus of all the holidays I've been on, I would have to say the funniest was when I went with my little sister to Tassie on a "driving" holiday, I learnt how to drive and read a map at the same time while my sister sat back and relaxed! Very funny trip in the little blue beep beep Barina!Well I think I have crapped on enough.......will prob add more later but gotta go!

My Interests

Hmmmm, Well I guess I like to play guitar, of course would love to be able to play it better than I currently do but hey everyone needs to start somewhere, just don't get time to practise. Love any adventure type of sports, everything is too bloody expensive though but things I would love to do if I had the money are: Skydiving, Cave Exploring, Hot Air Ballooning, Grand Prix driving, rally car driving, white water rafting, basically anything that gives me that adrenaline rush!I have been parasailing in Bali which was interesting for a 1st time ever, especially considering I did NOT understand the instructions being told to me until before I knew it I was in the air just holding on for dear life and praying I would live to tell this story! I have also been jet boating in New Zealand. Blasting through the waters of the Shotover Canyon was scary but exhilarating! Most recently I went rafting on the Goulburn River which was great fun also. It was however called "splash of chardonnay", a rafting/winery trip. Do I need to say more....after a few winery stops, we were the raft that was up for some fun experimenting with tricks such as "helicopter" etc, all I can say is I think I spent more time in the water than in the actual raft!

Being the oldest in my family means of course that my parents never allowed me to watch any movies over the rating of PG. So it is now up to me to try and catch up on any good movies, especially scary ones, just for the hell of it. I'm still really bad with watching scary ones. Tried to watch the haunted house one with Melissa George the other day and screamed one to many times that I had to get up and leave half way through, I was gonna have a heart attack......and that was watching it through the day with others around!

Books:

Um yeah, after school, uni, tafe, I made the executive decision that I needed a break from reading and needed to experience the "outside world"....um yeah, it's been a while since I read a book from start to finish.....best book I have read in ages was about a couple who spent 6months in antarctica doing research there. It was very interesting as my dream destination to visit one day is Antarctica! That is when I have a spare $15,000!!!!!
