About Me

There's always so much you want people to know about you, but when the time comes, you draw a blank. I would consider myself a fairly simple person but at the same time very demanding and quite the perfectionist. Hey, a girl's got to know what she wants, right? And what does this girl want? A few items topping the list; more time to spend with family and friends, a hot bubble bath every night after work, a perfect ski weekend every now and then and...that's basically it. See, very simple. I also refuse to settle for anything less than everything. :)

My Interests

While I work A LOT of hours, when I do have down time I enjoy running, canoeing on Lake Washington, shopping, reading, taking in a movie, skiing, or just hanging out wtih friends.

I'd like to meet:

My younger brother, Duncan.

Music:

I love music! I definitely have music on all the time, at home or at work, but my favorite artists include Pat Green, Tim McGraw, Garth Brooks,Faith Hill and Rascal Flatts. Basically, I'm a huge fan of country music; I'll be honest. I've also got to show some love for the 80's! Bon Jovi is pretty awesome (the concert ROCKED) and who could forget Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes"?? If the mood fits, I'll throw on some Sarah McLaughlin or Frank Sinatra. Then of course there are the dance parties I throw at my place that warrant a little "Gin and Juice.."

Movies:

I love all kinds of movies, it just depends on the mood I am in. Action mysteries are good like the Bourne Idendity and Bourne Supremacy, Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger, stuff like that. I like romantic comedies as well, although lately I haven't been in the mood for the really sappy stuff. I'll shed a tear for The Notebook but like I said, lately I've been feeling the need to see a little more action and adventure.

Television:

I won't lie, I love Friends. That's basically it.

Books:

I love to read if I'm trying to relax in a mellow setting like before bed, at a coffee shop, or on the beach. I like the spy thrillers from Vince Flynn and Brad Thor, and the medical mysteries from Tess Gerritsen. Dan Brown's Angels and Demons rocked my world as did the DaVinci Code, and sometimes I'll pick up a Sandra Brown.

Heroes:

Mom, Dad, Angelina, and Grandma Lynch

My Blog

The Egyptians know where it's at

I began the day with a few goals in mind; workout, get some camisoles at Macy's to wear under sweaters, and relax on the couch at home.  Workout, done.  Macy's...we'll, sort of. I walk...
