Shaktifarai

Shaktifarai combines the Shakti of devotional music with the thumping beats, skanking guitars, melodic pianos and three-part vocal harmonies of Roots Reggae, Rock N' Roll and Funk music. Shaktifarai fuses the chanting of Sanskrit mantras, with catchy English lyrics, and a funky groove that hypnotizes the listener. The tabla and harmonium of traditional Indian music are replaced by a drum set, bass, guitar and piano.
