About Me

Time for an updated profile. I am rarely on myspace so I have had the same information up for a couple years now. I enjoy making fun of people that sing God Bless the Broken road to their webcams on youtube. I can eat an entire jar of peanut butter in one day. I DO NOT eat any dairy products (cheese, milk, butter etc.) Don't skate...never have. I am moving to Scotland, Lord willing, in August to pursue graduate studies in Victorian Literature. I like sports, watching them...I don't partake in the playing of them. I like having dance parties in my car. On a serious note I have a heart for the depleted and oppressed. My hope and desire is to adopt many children and care for foster children as well. It is something I have wanted to do for at least 7 years. I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

My Interests

I have a mixture of the serious and the not-so-serious, I am guessing you can tell the difference. Literature, history, sports, family, music, film, peanut butter, hummus, Jesus and His mercy, urban cities, urban poor, orphans and foster children, making up SNL skits, finding people to laugh at on youtube (does this make me an awful person?), my dogs, traveling, traveling, Europe, St. Louis, New York city, vintage things, co-ops, vegan cafes, making videos with my fellow loma staffers.

I'd like to meet:

Alive: John Piper and Lauren Winner (again) Dead: Anne Bronte, Silvia Plath, Charles Spurgeon

Music:

I like most things. I love mixed cds from people, and genome music projects rock.

Movies:

Pride and Prejudice (current version), Proof, Darjeeling Limited, Royal Tenembaums, Walk the Line, 61*. There Will Be Blood, Dirty Dancing,When Harry Met Sally, Mystic Pizza and more that I can't think of.

Television:

Friends, Grey's Anatomy, House, So You Think You Can Dance, Lost, You Are What You Eat, and of course . . . Dawson's Creek and Beverly Hills 90210!

Books:

Anne Bronte's: Anges Grey and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall. Silvia Plath's The Bell Jar. Amy Tan's The Opposite of Fate. Lauren Winner's Girl Meets God. Spurgeon's Prayer and Spiritual Warfare.

My Blog

What happens when...

In an attempt to write an honest, non-marketing "about me" section I wrote this: I am impossibly picky, high maintenance and lazy. A walking paradox and conundrum of misshapen emotions. I like nice c...

My Great Moment

My explanation of what a "moment" is: Moments are exact slices of your life. It is a still frame of your life that you will never forget. It's doesn't even need an explanation; even if someone doesn't...

I am Anti-Bosox

No Bean Town favor here. The veil has been lifted and I have seen the truth. Though I was blind last season and was an honorary Red Sox fan, thinking  I would have them as my choice AL team (but...

three blogs in one day...look at this..April must be over

Alright...April was possibly one of the craziest months I have ever had. Between work, church and baseball I practically had no time for anything. A lot of amazing things are going on in my life...

God, the Red Sox, and Baseball in general.

I wish I could explain how much I love baseball. I would try but I would come up with some stupid semi-emotional analogy that no one would understand, unless they were truly a fan, even then they migh...
