About Me

Hello Fellow Myspacers! So, what is there to say about me...I live in Oxford, NC...(if you happen to know where that's at, without living there or near it, I'll give you 5 jellybeans!) and I work at a place that sells those really neat carports your see everywhere. It's a great job, mostly because it's easy, and I get to read books at work, or go to Wal-mart :D I also work part-time at a bar in Oxford, Munchin' Marvin's, as a bartender. That's fun...except for the pervs! If you're in the area you should definately stop by to see me...unless you're a perv...(ok, ok, the pervs can come too!) I'm STILL in school...working on my Professional Student Degree...right now it's going on 8 years...My goal is 10, then I'll feel like I really earned that PSD! I recently had a kidney transplant on November 6, 2006. My donor was Sarah (who is also my #1 friend, for obvious reasons). My Interests

I like all kinds of things. I'm pretty good at bowling, but I can't stand to watch the ball roll...I like to go surf fishing at the beach, but someone has to tell me when I have a bite...

Ohhh...I love it all...except Polka...I draw the line at Polka! And now that I've thought about it some more...I'm not into the Yodeling either...just to let ya know.

Movies:

I can watch pretty much anything that has Nicholas Cage in it...

Television:

On TV I love to watch House, ALL Law and Orders, Grey's Anatomy, and I love watching Bravo TV's Reality series...like Top Chef, Project Runway...all those.

Books:

I LOVE to read!! I love reading Christina Dodd, Stephanie Laurens, Lavyrle Spencer, Nora Roberts, Sandra Brown, Jo Beverly, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Madeline Hunter...wow...the list goes on and on...let it have romance with a little sex thrown in, and it's GOLD!

Heroes:

I am sooo lucky to have sooo many people that have made a difference in my life! My mom and dad and all my family have done so much for me all my life, but especially the last five years as I've been through kidney failure, dialysis and my transplant. I can't thank them enough for all they've done!!
My #1 hero would have to be Sarah. For the greatest gift she could have given me, her Kidney! Funny thing is, Sarah is a great person, but she doesn't come across as the bravest person in the world. But to me, she's everything you could ever want in a friend! I just have to keep her away from the sweatpants and Pantene Pro-V *hehe* (Yes Sarah, it's still funny!!)
