The Namonia Crew's Official Myspace The Namonia Crew is a four piece punk/metal band based out of San Pablo, California. This bnad is filled with a ton of talent and potential and it's almost hard to blieve that 3/4 of the members are still in high school. Each member contributes a different element to the music which is why their songs contain such diversity. Getting together and writing their own music in the summer of 2006, TNC has grown as songwriters and musicians.
"Being in a band with these guys has been amazing. Every day my guitar skills are getting tested and I'm constantly learning something new," guitarist, Tomy Wilkerson, says. However, TNC still has a lot to learn and is learning more with every concert. Once they get a better sense of stage prensence, this band will be a force to be reckoned with.
The Namonia Crew has been in the studio for a long time and still hasn't receieved all their music, but once they do they plan on releasing an album that will amaze everyone. "We've grown so much, every song has gotten better and now it's hard to believe that our first song was written by the same group of guys as our last song," Gp Aguilar says.
Some of their influences include: Between The Buried and Me, Unearth, Edguy, Darkest Hour, AFI, The Offspring, Sum 41, and The Misfits. Because of this, they have managed to find the perfect blend of punk and metal which is obvious in their sound. "We're a weird/different band. I appreciate our music. I think we're good. As far as other people....I don't know. They might not be as receptive to our stuff as we are," Tomy says.
Keep your eyes eyes and ears open because The Namonia Crew is a band you can definitely expect to see in the future and when you do, you might not even recognize them anymore.
