Born Noel Albert Guglielmi to an Italian father and a half Puerto Rican and Mexican mother, Noel was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico.
Simply known as “Noel G”, this working actor has appeared in more than a dozen movies and countless television shows and several commercials.
A few of the movies that Noel has appeared in and have been in big box office hits have been “Training Day” with Academy Award Winner Denzel Washington and his role in “Bruce Almighty” (the monkey scene) alongside actor and comedian Jim Carey.
There have been various roles that made Noel very popular amongst teen audiences. Hector in “The Fast and The Furious” with actors Vin Diesel (Boiler Room, Triple X, Chronicles of Riddick) and Paul Walker (Varsity Blues, Joy Ride), also Malibu’s Most Wanted, National Security, S.W.A.T. and a starring role in “Party Animalz” that was independently released.
This past year has been exceptionally busy for the actor. Noel also has various films scheduled for 2008 release including “The Bucket List” with Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson, “Street Kings” with Keaneu Reeves, Forest Whittiker, The Game and Common, also “The Shape” with Shane West (ER) and JK Simmons and several independent films including “Evilution”.
This past year’s independent release of “Splinter” with Edward James Olmos and Tom Sizemore was long awaited and has been having great DVD sales.
Previous year hits for Noel have been his roles in 2006’s “Crank” with Jason Statham, Amy Smart, Efren Ramirez, Carlos Sanz, “School for Scoundrels” with Billy Bob Thorton, John Heder, Michael Clark Duncun, “Snoop Doggs Hood of Horrors” with Snoop Dogg, Ernie Hudson, Danny Trejo, Pooch Hall, , “The Virgin of Juarez” and “Treasure of the Seven Mummies”.
Noel played the role of “Flaco” in the film “Harsh Times”, alongside writer David Ayer (Fast & Furious, Dark Blue, and S.W.A.T.) and who’s 2001 Training Day explored the grimy streets of Los Angeles. The film will star actors Christian Bale, Freddy Rodriguez, and Eva Longoria.
Aside from acting on the big screen Noel is also featured in various popular video games. He lends his voice and character to the “Grand Theft Auto, San Andreas” and is also featured in “The Shield”, “The Fast & the Furious” and “187 Ride or Die” also starring Lorenz Tate and Rap Artist Guerilla Black made for Play Station and X-Box.
Noel G.’z acting career has consistently grown and he continues to take each role to the next level. With various movies to be released, video games, television appearances and endorsement deals Noel is making his mark in this challenging entertainment industry.
He plans to be producing his own movies about Latino lifestyle “from the streets” and get it “right” because the entertainment industry tends to misrepresent our culture and lifestyle, states Noel.
Having come such a long way already he hopes to still make his mark in Hollywood. Nonetheless Noel Guglielmi is prepared and ready for whatever happens next.
