About Me

I am a famliy man, married 12 years with 3 awesome kids. My wife rocks. She's my hero and doesn't even know it. Our kiddoes are the best. We scout it up, soccer ahoy, and work on Moddin' Art as a family.Moddin' Art is a TV show for and about car enthusiasts. I shoot it from the point of view of the enthusiast/viewer and while I shoot on High Definition and edit on state of the art equipment, I take great strides not to over produce this on-going documentary. Think glamorized home movies. I travel the nation, entering my daily-driver in races and shows and I document the comradery I come accross along the way. Moddin' Art is true reality.my daily driver:

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Man, I've mingled with the famous my whole career but I tell ya, I'd really like to meet Willie Nelson. Dudes cool. A kind rebel with wisdom. I like that.

Television:

Grinner Hester gears up for a national television series.Moddin’ Art to be the next “reality” sensationGrinner Hester (www.grinnerhester.com) is an award-winning videographer / editor with over 20 years experience in the field and has had a passion for go-fast since pre-conception. Hester began racing moto-X in the early 80s, got his first street racing ticket in the late 80s and today at 38 years old, can still be found at a track of some sort on any given Saturday.Hester explains, “There isn’t a TV show for car enthusiast on the air today that really represents car enthusiasts. I’ve been shooting and editing for decades, I’m at the track every weekend anyway. It just made since to combine some passions. That’s what Moddin’ Art is.”Moddin’ Art (www.ModdinArt.com) is the only show of it’s kind because it’s shot from the point of view of the enthusiast. Host, Grinner Hester, takes the viewer hand-held to car and bike events all over the country, covering these events as a participant, not as a spectator. No production crew is utilized for this show and this grass-roots approach to production opens literal doors, offering footage otherwise never seen. Hester adds, “Man, I aint TV. I’m a dude with a camera. Because of this, people allow me/you, the viewer into their lives.”You can watch Moddin’ Art here: http://ModdinArt.com/show.html and the current pilot being marketed to networks can be viewed here: http://ModdinArt.com/pilot “Several networks are looking at Moddin’ Art as a series right now. To me, it was never a matter of if this was gonna happen. It’s just been when.”-grinner hesterGrinner Hester LLC St Louis, MO [email protected]

I consider this the single best video I have ever done. It's not boastful for me to say it's perfect because I really am not the one who made it. Little Janelle and God made this one. part one: janel...
