I like reading. I like writing. I can escape into worlds of my own making, where I can be the hero, the lover, or anything else. I love to run. It's what keeps me sane....and stress free. I love helping other people, to put a smile on their faces.
I'd like to meet:
This is a rather difficult question. There's so many different answers for different situations. As a boy scout, I'd like to meet Baden Powell who started scouting. As a writer, I'd like to meet Isaac Asimov. His novels got me into science fiction.
Music:
I have a wide assortment of musical interests. I just about like it all. It just depends on what kinda mood I'm in. I like rock, rap, pop, and classical. I prefer Mozart and Yanni. I like System of a Down. I like Meatloaf, Prince, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Michael Jackson before he married Lisa Marie Presley. I like Eminem, the Fat Boys, New Kids on the Block, Backstreet Boys. I'm not much into country, though I have been hearing stuff that I do enjoy.
Movies:
I love so many different movies for different reasons. For action, I'd have to say Armageddon is my favorite followed closely by Deep Impact and Face Off. Serendipity is my favorite romance movie, also Can't Buy Me Love. Series is Firefly with Serenity. My all time favorite movies though are The Last Starfighter and Lost in Space.
Television:
I gotta see my Sci-fi Friday. I love the Friday line up on the sci-fi channel; Stargate SG1, Stargate Atlantis, Flash, Dr. Who or Battlestar Gallactica. I enjoy watching Las Vegas, Medium, and Numbers.
Books:
I love Reading. Right now I'm reading one of the Sword of Truth books by Terry Goodkind. I've just finished reading one of the Wheel of Time books by Robert Jordan. I'm reading the latest Harry Potter books. I love books. I have a collection of few hundred.
Heroes:
Mr. Hughes. He was one of the Scouting leaders in my troop when I was just a teen. He helped me through some tough times. He still does. He taught me that there was and still is a Santa Claus. It was him when I was young, and now it's everybody that does something for someone else without expectations of recieving anything in return. Santa Claus may not be a person, but it's a state of being that's in our hearts and Mr Hughes taught me that.
