Well I have been thinking about developing a drug addiction so that I can one day be famous. I love concerts and music but have no musical talent. I like the pain of getting tattoos but cry during Armageddon. I once got kicked in the head but hurt myself worse throwing a tantrum about it. I have woken up alone at home and freaked out thinking I was lost(I then ran outside and locked myself out). I am the funniest person I know. I am a gemini, and I might as well be a posterboy for everything you have heard. I don't like to cuddle. I have a fascination with monkeys and cleavage, but not at the same time, that would be sort of awkward. I am type-one diabetic, diagnosed in May 2007, but that only means that when I get low I get high and when I get high I get low with Vicodin. I was raised Catholic, I've never met a priest I didn't like and I enjoy repressing memories. And once in a while I am slightly sarcastic, but I prefer to call it "socially distraught". I drink to get drunk, and when I am drunk I drink more to keep the buzz. I once jumped off of a roof and hit my head on a tree stump. I don't do drugs, I'm just an insulin addict, I need that shit like Lohan needs coke.
I moved to New York July 9th, on two days notice, to start a new life. Like every other transplant I am hoping for bigger and better things here in the City. So far I have been ran over by a Peanut M & M, got lost in the East Village and had a conversation with what I can only describe as a four foot prostitute coke addict. I have some friends that are just New York versions of the ones I left in Michigan. I haven't been raped or mugged yet, but I heard it's not bad after the first time.
Becoming diabetic for no reason other than my Pancreas is a sissy has been the best thing to ever happen to me. It has given me a reason to live, a passion burning so bright I wear sunglasses when it rains. DiabeticRockstar.com is my life now. Read my blogs, Donate to the Charity, be a Rockstar.
I also wrote an unedited book that I quietly released. All proceeds from sales will go to Fight It. CHECK OUT THE BOOK

My Interests

.. ..After spending 26.5 years being wonderfully shallow I have now grown up, now found a true reason to live. Besides being a Diabetic Rockstar, I love music, philosophy, flirting, tattoos and hating the Yankees. I do believe that a person's creative thought process improves with every impairment. I don't know if this qualifies as an interest, but once I get done taking over the diabetic world I intend ..ing a petition drive to get rid of the penny.

I'd like to meet:

I have a man crush on Johnny Depp. Bret Michaels only because I think I stole his nickname. For everything sacred and the Glory of Love Bif Naked is the hottest chick on the planet.

Most importantly, I want to meet Diabetic Rockstars and/or people that support us--We are truly showing how life is meant to be lived.
AIM = DiabeticStar E-mail = [email protected]

.. FIGHT-IT.ORG!

Music:

In music and lyrics do I find solace, a requiem for every emotion. Big fan of the sad emo scene, pop punk and the hardcore before it (and the classy 80's bands).
"You could slit my throat, with my one last gasping breath, I'd apologize for bleeding on your shirt"-- Most Romantic Lyric EVER
I used to have a list of like a thousand bands, but now I'll make it easy for you: Look at the player below. I update it often because I can't afford I-Tunes and my Ipod only plays Avril Lavigne.

Movies:

..Empire Records, Dazed & Confused, Howard the Duck, Say Anything, Swingers, and, of course, Orange County, because I am going to write a book people stick in the sand one day. ..

Television:

..Friends, Family Guy, Scrubs, Bravo Network. I whole-heartedly believe Rob and Big is the worst show ever. And I don't have cable, so stop asking me if I have seen something, chances are I haven't, cause I am pretty lame like that.

Books:

..Well "An American Scene" obviously. I don't read so much. And my grammar really leaves a lot to edit.

Heroes:

These People:

The Diabetic Rockstars who each day prove that life is more than just living; It's a Fight that we win with every positive thing we do! Everyone that said "no" when they were supposed to say yes. People who Fight Back against stereotypes, misconceptions, harrassment. Jon Favreau for making Swingers. Deep Blue Something for making 'Breakfast at Tiffany's". Peter Cetera for being the coolest guy alive. Whoever invented insulin, although one would imagine that if we can make a pill to get up we can make one to keep the sugar level down. The armed forces for keeping my ass safe, even if we are in the wrong country. Stephen King, not for his horror stories but for his "How-To" writing book, it's pretty damn good. My grandmother, she's a pretty special woman. And last of all everyone who has supported me through all the dumb stuff I do and the dumb stuff I've been through!

And on the 7th Day, God Gave Me Diabetes

I haven't blogged much. I apologize. I have been stuck in this pseudo-serious rut, where it seems like everything I say is being taken as gospel, so I have had to take time and figure out what the hel...

I Found My West-Coast Sunset (But Not Lohan, Damnit!)

Get comfortable, grab your reading glasses, crack open a beer (but not if you are diabetic, we don't need more hate-mail) and sit back, cause this is going to take a while. My longest blog in ages, an...

I am a liar. I said that the blog a couple days ago would be the last before the concert Thursday, and that is just not true. But I had to tell the world of three things that have happened to me in t...
