Shelley is a tiny little girl that lives in a tiny little apartment in the the city of Adelaide in South Australia.
She likes chocolate, sitting outside in the sun, getting out to see some kick arse live music, drinking wine or beer, watching old episodes of Buffy and lying on the couch talking crap with good friends who are also good at talking crap - interesting crap - but crap all the same.
Above all things she likes to laugh.
Shelley is scared of the big hairy spider that fell into her bath tub and now whenever she is in there, she still has little freakouts. She is scared of losing the ability that she seems to have for being in a constant state of happiness and doesn't want to turn into a miserable old bitch like some of the jaded people she has come to know over the years.
Shelley is looking for the underwear that she got for xmas to match her pink bra. It drives her bonkers that she never got to wear the set as a whole before she lost them. She fears she may have thrown them out with the xmas wrapping - which is a shame because she really likes the expensive stuff and she is rather anal about matching sets.
Shelley would like to go on a decent holiday. Both her and her delightfully sassy friend Megan plan on heading to the US in 2007. Beyond that she would love to visit the UK and then further down the road she would like to visit Italy. Actually, scratch that, she would like to LIVE in Italy. She developed a rather unhealthy obessession with 'Steaing Beauty' several years back and she feels that a nice Italian boy would be good for her. Lei parl' Italiano, ma non ha parlato da tanto tempo. Not that it matters, the less the boys understand her, the better off she probably is.
Shelley wishes that money did infact grow on trees so she could commence her travels tomorrow.
Shelley loves Scrabble. Challenge her to a game and watch her kick your arse. Yes, she really is that good. In the past 4 years she has been defeated, by the smallest of margins, twice. One of those times she was drunk, so that doesn't really count. Does it?
Shelley and her friend Sarah (or Bean Girl and Shh! Shh! to those in the Superhero know) are the co-founders and creative genius behind Tabliod Tees. Today Shelley is about as happy as a Shelley can be. The sun is shining, her body is not freaking out and all is well with the world.
