The Truth About Heaven and Hell (By Beloved Jesus The Christ)
Everything is made from energy and that energy is vibration. There are different levels of vibration, and one might say that there are three main levels. The level that all human beings can detect with the physical senses is what we might call the material world. This realm is made from energies that vibrate within a certain frequency spectrum, as explained elsewhere.
Beyond the material realm is the spiritual realm, which is made of energies that vibrate at higher frequencies than the energies found in the material realm. There are a number of levels in the spiritual realm, going all the way up to the ultimate vibration, which is the level of the creator. I have given some teachings on the spiritual realm in several places [Link 1, Link 2].
You must understand that the old linear model, which was based on the human senses, is no longer adequate in a world that realizes everything is made from energy. Heaven is not literally located in the direction of the sky. Heaven is made from vibrations that exist in the same space as the vibrations of the material realm.
The room in which you are sitting is being penetrated by radio waves of different frequencies. Because the waves have different frequencies, they can coexist in the same space without canceling each other out. So the energies of the spiritual realm and the material realm do indeed coexist in the same space. That is why there are places on Earth that many people feel have a higher vibration than others. This is because there are localized areas where the vibration has been raised to such a level that the gap between the material and the spiritual worlds has become almost non-existent. One might say that the two realms overlap or that Heaven has been brought to Earth. One might also say that people are already in Heaven—they simply don't see it because their consciousness is tuned in to the lower vibrations of he material realm.
Hell then is simply a realm made from energies that are lower than the energies in the material realm. As is the case with the spiritual realm, you can find places on this Earth with a noticeably lower vibration than average. These are places where the material realm and the lower realm overlap. It is therefore literally true that certain places are hell on Earth.
In reality, what scientists today call energy is really consciousness. The Gospel of John says that in the beginning was the Word and that everything was created out of the Word or logos. The Word is the universal Christ consciousness, the universal Christ mind. This state of consciousness was the first element of creation, therefore one can call it the firstborn Son of God or the only begotten Son of the Father. Obviously, these words are only symbols that I used because, 2,000 years ago, people had no understanding of energy. Therefore, I could not have explained to them what I have just explained to you.
The universal Christ consciousness is the basic substance from which everything else was created. Therefore, the Christ consciousness is embodied in everything, and that is why every human being has the potential to follow in my footsteps and become a Christed being.
My point is that Heaven is a state of consciousness, Earth is a state of consciousness and Hell is a state of consciousness. The difference here is that the spiritual realm was created by God, and everything in the spiritual realm is in perfect alignment with the laws and the original vision of God.
Earth was also created by God. However, because the inhabitants of Earth were given free will, they have descended into a lower state of consciousness and forgotten their spiritual origin. Therefore, not everything on Earth is in alignment with the laws and the vision of God.
The major difference between Earth and Hell is that Hell was never created by God. I realize this is contrary to what is believed by most religious people but the explanation is that these people are still holding on to an image of Hell that was created in a more primitive time. As explained above, before people had an understanding of energy, there was simply no way to correctly explain Hell.
Hell is a state of consciousness that was created by a group of non-material beings who rebelled against God’s vision, God’s purpose and God’s laws. In their pride and rebellion, they attempted to create a place in which God seemingly is not present. You see, God gave a number of beings free will. Whatever these beings do, they do with God’s energy, meaning that they change the vibration of that energy. God’s original vision was that the inhabitants of the material world would never qualify energy below a certain vibration. If that vision had been followed, the entire planet would have been in an upward spiral in which nothing would have broken down or decayed.
After these non-material beings started qualifying energy below the critical level, they started a negative spiral or vortex. At some point, human beings were tricked into entering a lower state of consciousness, which causes them to misqualify energy. Therefore, the energy vortex of Hell is being reinforced every time people engage in imperfect energies.
Hell has many levels of vibration, and new levels are being added by beings who are constantly rebelling against God and trying to generate lower vibrations. This can continue for a long time, and the vibrations can get quite low. However, there is a limit to how low the energies can become before they literally self-destruct.
One might say that the “fire” so often associated with Hell is a symbol of the existence of very low or dense energies. If you compress physical matter, it heats up and you will eventually have a nuclear reaction. Likewise, when you continue to lower the vibration of God’s energy, you will eventually create an explosive reaction that will “burn” the misqualified energy and thereby free it from the thoughtforms that kept it bound to that level of vibration. When that happens, the energy can be raised to a higher vibration and “recycled.”
In reality, the beings who created Hell are living a lie, they are living an illusion. As I just said, the universal Christ consciousness is in everything. You cannot create anything without using the universal Christ consciousness. The dark forces have managed to create a level that is entirely made of energy frequencies that are so low that God would never have created those frequencies. So from a certain viewpoint one might say that they have succeeded in creating a world where God’s Light and truth is not present. Yet this absence of God’s Light is but a temporary illusion that will continue to exist only as long as human beings continue to misqualify the Light of God and feed it to the dark forces who cannot receive it on their own.
As a summary, one might say that Heaven was created by God and follows the original plan of God. The Earth was created by God but is no longer in alignment with the divine plan. However, the Earth has the potential to be brought into alignment with God’s law and therefore raised into its original purity. This will then bring Heaven, meaning the consciousness of Heaven, to Earth.
Hell was never created by God and does not have the potential to be brought into alignment with God’s law and truth. The energies can be purified back to their original vibration. However, when that happens, Hell will simply disappear and be no more.
Whereas Heaven and Earth are real, Hell is simply a figment of a warped imagination. So how did the concept of hell come to be such a prominent force in religion? Well, as I said, Hell does exist and it has a temporary reality. If a person chooses to attune his or her consciousness to the consciousness of Hell, that soul will literally be magnetized to Hell after it leaves the physical body. So going to Hell is a real possibility for a human soul.
However, it would be extremely beneficial for people to realize and accept that souls are not sent to Hell as a punishment from God. Souls literally send themselves to Hell by lowering their state of consciousness. It is your state of consciousness that determines whether your soul is magnetized to the vibrations of the spiritual realm or the vibrations of Hell.
There is a certain, although temporary, reality to the stories of Hell found in almost every religion. Yet I will be the first to admit that most religions have misunderstood and misused the concept of hell in order to generate fear among their followers and therefore scare them into following the outer rules and doctrines without questioning church authority.
Obviously, this is a misuse of the responsibility such authorities have, and in some cases certain religious leaders have actually misused their power to such a degree that they ended up in the Hell that they so skillfully used as a tool for scaring their followers into submitting to their games of power and control.
Humor In Heaven (By Beloved Jesus The Christ)
I can assure you that there is much humor and joy here in Heaven, and therefore there should be room for humor on the spiritual path on Earth. In fact, let me say that if you cannot laugh at yourself, you are taking yourself too seriously. And if you cannot laugh at a particular topic, including your religion, you are taking that topic too seriously.
Humor is indeed a liberating force that can have a powerful impact on setting people free from the prison of the human ego and the carnal mind. The human ego is very serious about preserving its image and its sense of being in control. When you identify with the ego, you cannot laugh at yourself. If you think someone is making fun of you, the ego feels threatened, and it attempts to squeeze all joy from your life. Therefore, one of the best ways to neutralize the ego is to use humor.
As Saint Thomas More once said, “The devil, the evil spirit, cannot endure to be mocked." There is indeed no better way to turn away dark forces than by using humor. The dark forces are consumed by their egos, and therefore they take themselves very seriously—and they want all human beings to do the same. If you refuse to take them seriously, or even us humor to deflate their egos, they will find it difficult to find an inroad into your consciousness.
Obviously, as with everything else on this planet, there is a higher form of humor and a lower form of humor. I am sure everyone interested in spiritual growth can tell the difference, and it is truly a difference in vibration. Some forms of humor are gross or base, and they cause your energies to flow downward. Other forms of humor are light-hearted and cause your energies to move up. I am not encouraging anyone to engage in any lower form of humor, which is basically any form of humor that degrades other human beings. However, I strongly encourage people to use humor as part of the spiritual path because it truly can liberate you from becoming trapped in the illusion created by dark forces, namely that everything is so serious and should be taken so seriously that there is no room for any real joy in life.
Let me say that many Christians have developed the attitude that it is necessary to walk around with a sad face in order to make it to Heaven. In reality, this is an illusion. God has no desire to force people to enter Heaven. God wants people to enter of their own free-will choosing, and why would you choose to enter Heaven if you see it as a place with no joy? God created human beings so they are naturally attracted to that which is light and joyful, and they are repulsed by that which is dark and dreary. God created you that way because Heaven is full of light and joy, and God wants you to be attracted to Heaven. So if your religion makes you take life too seriously, then you are not headed in the direction of Heaven. If not, you might want to lighten up and take your spirituality and your religion less seriously. It is quite possible to laugh your way into Heaven but it is not possible to cry your way into Heaven.
We of the Ascended Host often use humor to diffuse a tense situation. Although Heaven is a place with great joy, those of us working with human beings often find ourselves in somewhat tense situations because it is difficult to determine exactly how to help our unascended brothers and sisters move forward on the spiritual path. Truly, there are so many problems and so much darkness in the Earth that even an ascended being can become tense when dealing with these situations. We often used humor to lighten a meeting or discussion, because we know that when things get too tense, the tension itself will block the right solution.
Up here, we never make fun of people or each other in a malicious or degrading way. But we will make fun of each other in a good-natured way, and we will make fun of ourselves because we do not take ourselves too seriously. We will often use our past mistakes or shortcomings in a humorous way to prove a point. If you want an example of our form of humor, read The Jesus Koans. It contains some sayings that bring a smile to the face of an ascended being.
Let me say that humor and joy is truly a vibration. It is a vibration of great light, and it can lift your spirit more than anything else. Humor is not necessarily the same as laughter. Laughter is a physiological reaction, and although it can relax your muscles, it does not necessarily lift your spirit. Base humor does not lift your spirit.
It is quite possible to use humor and joy without making people laugh. Joy can be a quiet glow that suddenly makes everyone realize that behind all the serious appearances on Earth there is a deeper sense of joy. That joy can be released through the heart center of every human being, but those who are truly joyful can become electrodes of this inner glow. They can lighten up a room simply by walking into it and without cracking any jokes that make people laugh. They can open the door for a flood tide of the energy of joy simply by looking at someone with a blink in the eye or by smiling.
As you grow on the spiritual path, heal your psychological wounds and open your mind and heart to spiritual light, you will naturally become an electrode of joy. You will be able to dispel the gloom of a situation by just being the flame of joy in action.
You say that many Christians have an impression of me as being quiet and reserved. I do not know where that impression came from, because if you read the scriptures, you will see that I was not quiet or reserved when I challenged the scribes and the Pharisees. I was, and I am, a very direct Master, and I can assure you that I was quite outspoken. In fact, many people were offended by my outspokenness and directness. It is, however, correct that I did not often smile or laugh during my embodiment in Galilee. I knew I had a serious mission to fulfill, and from the point of no return at the wedding in Cana, I was so focused on meeting the daily tests and challenges that I had little attention left over for being joyful.
In retrospect, I wish I had been more joyful but at the time attention was focused on dealing with the heavy energies and the outer challenges I faced. Today, I would have been far less serious but then again it is easy to look back at the past and think you could have done better.
Nevertheless, I see no reason Christians today should take themselves, their religion or the spiritual side of life too seriously. Make an effort to bring joy into your spiritual life, because unless you become as joyful as little children, how can you enter the kingdom of joy? Make an effort to become an electrode of joy and dispel the cloud of gloom that currently hangs over this planet. So many people in today's world take themselves and their causes so seriously that they believe joyfulness is a sin, a crime or an offense to God. I can assure you that God is never offended by true joy. On the contrary, God is the most joyful being you will ever meet. How can there be anything but joy in the presence of God?
You might ask why I do not use humor on this website. The main reason is that in Heaven we have a universal form of humor, but on Earth humor is so dependent upon different cultures. On a website that can be accessed by people from every culture, I do not want to offend anyone’s cultural sensitivity. And I do not want to offend the many people who do take their religion too seriously but who might still be helped by the teachings on this website.
Understanding the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil (By Beloved Jesus The Christ)

The choice between the mind of Christ and the mind of anti-christ is actually found behind the symbols in the story of the Garden of Eden. The God in the garden was a spiritual teacher who had become one with the universal Christ mind and thus represented the cosmic Christ. He was tutoring Adam and Eve (as symbols for a large group of co-creators) on the path to personal Christhood. This path leads co-creators (who start out with a limited self-awareness and an identity as separate beings) to become one with their source and reclaim their true identity as sons and daughters of God. That is why the Bible says about the Christ, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God” (John 1:12). Thus, the path to Christhood is the Path of Oneness.
As part of that path, students had to face and overcome the temptation to use the mind of anti-christ to separate themselves from their teacher and their source instead of seeking oneness with their source. This is symbolized by the “fruit of the knowledge of good and evil.” The key to understanding the true meaning behind the symbol is to realize a subtle but all-important distinction. When you see the world through the mind of Christ, you clearly see that the Creator is the source of everything, and thus there is an underlying oneness behind all appearances. You see the Creator’s purpose and you see that following his laws is to your own benefit. You also see that your own higher Being made the choice to create the Conscious You because it wanted to be part of God’s creation. Thus, there is no conflict between God’s purpose and your own higher desires. In the mind of Christ, there is an absolute standard for separating good and evil, meaning what is real and unreal. The Christ mind knows that what is one with God’s purpose and laws is real and what is separated from God’s purpose and laws is unreal.
When you see the world through the mind of anti-christ, you cannot see the underlying oneness of all life, God’s purpose and God’s laws. Thus, the mind of anti-christ does not see reality; it sees an image of reality that it has created and projected upon reality. This is described in the first two of the ten commandments, “3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image” (Exodus, Chapter 20). The meaning is that when you see the world through the mind of anti-christ, you create a mental image of how you want God to be, and you project that image upon God, thus worshiping an idol before the real Creator who is beyond form.
To the mind of anti-christ there is no absolute standard for separating good and evil. Good and evil have become relative terms, and they exist only in relation to each other. Good is the opposite of evil which is the opposite of good. Yet the mind of anti-christ defines both good and evil, and both of them are separated from reality, meaning that what is humanly good is not in harmony with God’s absolute good. This is what makes it possible for people to create a veil of illusions that separates them from their source and makes them forget their origin. This is why people can believe they are sophisticated animals instead of spiritual beings or that they are miserable sinners instead of sons and daughters of God. It can even make people believe they are very religious and guaranteed to be saved, whereas they are still trapped in the mind of separation and thus cannot enter the kingdom of God that is within them. That is why Jesus talked about a true and a false path:
13. Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14. Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (Matthew, Chapter 7)
This is a concept that will require serious contemplation before you fully internalize it. The reason being that you have grown up in a society that is influenced by the mind of anti-christ in many subtle ways. This has caused various institutions to define their own “truth” which they claim to be infallible. It is precisely because so many groups of people each claim to have their own infallible “truth” – instead of reaching for a clear vision of God’s truth – that there are so many conflicts on this planet that seemingly cannot be resolved. It is such man-made “truths” that make it possible for two groups of people to kill each other in the name of the same God. However, this is not because of a flaw in religion itself but a flaw in humankind’s approach to religion.
The fact is that all problems seen on this planet were created because people had become blinded by the mind of anti-christ. And the reason so many problems and conflicts seem to have no resolution is because people continue to look at the situation through the relative, dualistic logic of the mind of anti-christ. It is an eternal law that you cannot solve a problem with the same state of consciousness that created the problem. There is a solution to every problem seen on Earth, but in order to find the ultimate solution, you must first raise your consciousness above the consciousness that created the problem. And since all problems spring from the mind of anti-christ, you must first reach for the mind of Christ. That is why Jesus said, “First cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye” (Matthew 7:5).
There are millions of people who volunteered to come into embodiment at this precise time in history because they wanted to help solve the many problems on Earth and help bring society into a new and better age, even a Golden Age of peace and prosperity. Yet in order for this to happen, humankind must fully learn the lesson people were meant to learn from Jesus and his mission. The main lesson is that there is an alternative to the relativistic, dualistic “truth” of the mind of anti-christ. The mind of anti-christ always thinks in terms of two opposites, and one must be right and the other wrong. Jesus was saying that as long as your vision is divided, both opposites are wrong, “The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness” (Luke 11:34).
The evil eye is a vision divided by the relative opposites of the mind of anti-christ. Thus, in order for you to fulfill your personal mission and Divine plan, you must first raise your consciousness so you can begin to see beyond the veil created by the dualistic vision of the mind of anti-christ. And only when your eye is single, meaning your vision undivided by the relative opposites, will you see clearly how to solve your personal problems and larger problems. Only when a critical mass of people attain this one vision of the Christ mind, will they be able to raise society into a better age. Thus, the starting point is to purify your mind of the illusions of anti-christ and reach for the vision of Christ—and then you will find the solutions to the problems you are here to solve. As Jesus said, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33). The kingdom of God is the Christ consciousness, and when you have it, the solution to all problems will be added unto you. Again, Jesus said, “With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26). Only through the mind of Christ can you be with God.
