My favorite book is "Shampoo Planet" by Douglas Coupland. I am currently reading "The Secret." It is amazing!
Heroes:
I would not call them Heroes, but Oprah and Rosie are 2 public figures I find to be inspiring and full of truth. Each woman motivates me on a daily basis.
I would call my Mom a hero. I miss her dearly and wish she were here. But she is too busy with the other angels in heaven. :-)
