For the last 8 years I've been heavily involved with the dance music scene. First cutting my teeth playing top40 at some popular new haven clubs and then promoting and performing at verious "rave" style events around New England. Forming Digital Finesse in 2001 with my partner's DJ Yori and Xian we began throwing small events in Connecticut at the now retired Municple Cafe in Hartford. Fast forward to today and Digital Finesse has grown to a crew of five great DJ's with the addition of Technologic and Snake Feather. Even today we are stilling doing small intimate venues with the same great vibe.
My musical style can be difficult to pigeon hole as I am heavily influenced by all styles of electronic dance music and I try to use these influences to ensure that everyone keeps dancing and has a good time. My style today is very progressive with strong disco and eletro influences. But when the lights go out at peak hours I am known to unleash a fury of tech-trance, techno and acid trance.I am currently planning a double mix to be released on the web soon along with my own podcast (jumping on the bandwagon) where I intend not only to play music but run my own little state of the union news show to keep people up to date with upcoming new england events and possibly have some great interviews with some of the local promoters and DJ's.
