About Me

On October 9, 2007 our world was forever changed when we learned our son Jayden has autism and sensory integrative dysfunction. We have created this page to spread awareness and to give others the opportunity to take part in traveling this road with us. Our journey into autism began with Jayden's 3rd birthday. I had always suspected something was not quite right, but when a little boy at his birthday party asked him,"what's the matter with you? why won't you talk?" I knew it was time to take action. Jayden is now under the care of DAN! doctors, and he has occupational and speech therapy as well as wraparound therapy.

My Interests

This is Jayden at age 2. You can hear how he makes strange jargon instead of saying words to answer me. He previously had some language...he began to lose it after the MMR.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who wants to come together to fight the autism epidemic and the head up their butts organizations that insist there is no epidemic...and all of the toxic onslaught against our kids isn't harming them. I'd like to help them pull their head out of their collective arses!

It has been a tough month in the Naughton household. Chelsea, our beloved TSS, has moved to Charleston in pursuit of LOVE :), and so we have been without help in the afternoon for almost 2 week...
