About Me

This page is new and still under construction. So please be patient. I am a budding singing(vocalist) bass player in the works who is looking to perform live in 2008 and beyond. It will basically be in the genre of RnB, alternative, experimental, gospel, some blues, etc. Have a history of music dating back to the early 1980s in which I learned to sing in the church choir with the vocal range of baritone to low tenor. My first instrument was the cello in which I played and performed successfully in junior high orchestra. Took a break from music in the early 1990s to pursue a healthcare career, but the resurgence of music was beating in my soul. I put in two years of vocal, guitar and keyboard training from 1995-1997. Put out a 12-song album in 2001 that didn't go anywhere. No support or promotion on a grand scale, but live performances done in the Bay area of California on the keyboards & guitar from 2001-2003. I was younger then with a small understanding of how the music industry really works. After a bout with depression from 2003-2006, I am feeling confident again so a second calling is upon me and let's see how it goes this time around. I have placed an instrumental song entitled "Images of Peace" from that 2001 album on this profile for you all to enjoy until I redo some of the songs from that album in the near future. But for now video clips of venue performances will be added from time to time since that is the fastest way to upload music on here. :) And from that point on it will be album after album after album and other musical projects.UPDATE 4/7/08. Band Members: No band members as of yet, but looking forward to playing with like minded musicians/singers who have a passion for creating strong, beautiful, hypnotic, fresh music in 2008!! This will be in the area of alternative, experimental, RnB, some blues, even bass flavor for hip hop. In the meantime, at least I'll have some fans/friends from all over the world :)

Influences: Mainly the great soul, RnB acts of the 1970s, 80s, and 90s such as the Ojays, Commodores, Blackbyrds, Temptations, Raydio with Ray Parker Junior, Kool & The Gang, Earth, Wind & Fire, Third World, The Eagles, The Bee Gees, ABBA, Bob Marley, Barry White, Teddy Pendergrass, Luthor Vandross, James Ingram, Jefferey Osbourne, etc Christian artists back in the day such as The Clark Sisters, The William Brothers, The Winans, Commission, Take 6, etc
Sounds Like: Me being me with influences from the noted above. RnB, Experimental, Alternative & Christian.
