Strafe’s SET IT OFF: “The most sampled song of all time!†– Billboard magazineSet It Off, the song will be 24 years deep this year. I’ve written quite a few tunes before that one and a whole bunch since. Songwriting is something I love to do. The business of it all is something I HAVE TO DO. Believe it or not, it is why I haven’t released more music or explored more opportunities to collaborate. Managing the SIO derivatives, licensing, publishing, sample uses etc. has shown me so much about the inner workings off the "bizness" structure, that it has disrupted my creative output, though not my creativity in general. Creating is therapy for me. Right now, I’m inspired more than ever to share the results, knowing others can relate and hopefully enjoy as well.New tunes coming!!
