I am here for Friends

About Me

I am transgendered and autistic. That is important to know about me right away. Outside of that, I am creative when I want to be, busy when I need to be, playful when it's required, and serious when it's necessary. I am often shy, but out-going in the right situations. I am unique but I can blend in with the crowd. Most importantly, I am Siobhan, and I wouldn't want to be anyone else.

My Interests

I have a massive interest in my computer, to the point where I feel I am practically married to it (and sometimes I'd like a divorce). On my computer, I have a re-growing interest in playing online poker. Outside of computers, I have love-hate relationships with video games and sports. I have interests in digital photography and a weird interest in high-speed photography. I have other interests as well that I don't realize I have until I try them.

I'd like to meet:

People who are open-minded and understanding. I'd like to meet people who are clever, creative, and fun. I'd also like to, eventually, meet a woman who I could eventually have a romantic relationship with.

Music:

I love a lot of 80's music and some 70's music. In particular, I like classic rock, southern rock, progressive rock, glam rock, early punk rock, British heavy metal, British dance-pop, 80's R&B, freestyle music, disco, funk, and a good deal of French music.

Movies:

I'm not much of a movie-goer. However, I have a massive love for Children of a Lesser God.

Television:

On digital cable, I watch game shows and both incarnations of American Gladiators. The rest of the television I watch is on YouTube. Among the shows I watch there are Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Top Gear, QI, Have I Got News For You, and Mock the Week.

Books:

I don't read a lot of books, but I nevertheless hold two books in high esteem: The Canterbury Tales and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (along with Through the Looking Glass). However, I only seem to be reading my psychology textbook lately.

Heroes:

I idolize people who overcome disabilities to become famous. I have a particular idolization for Marlee Matlin because she overcame a disability to star in my favorite film of all-time and to star on The L-Word. I also idolize actresses who are cute and talented, such as Billie Piper.

My Blog

My usual self-destructing Sunday...

The odds of me actually changing my Sunday routine are getting higher and higher by the minute.  While my routine now includes a healthy overdose of Xbox games, instead of the usual "bumming arou...

Yes, Im bored on Saturday again...

So Saturday was...well...boring again.  I really could've spent it in a better fashion than the way I actually did, but I made a choice to waste my time and I might as well live with it.Of course...

Shhh...be quiet and know your role...

Friday was the national Day of Silence, and, like the last time I celebrated the Day of Silence, I was looking forward to it.  Unlike the last time, it was worth the wait.  There were n...

That damn keyboarding class is going to be the death of me...

Thursday was a mixed bag...probably the most bipolar day I've had in a while.  It started, as it always does, with French class.  It was pretty standard faire, mostly re-visiting the conditi...

Things are looking up...with one exception...

Tuesday was actually pretty eventful, somewhat in a good way and somewhat not.  It's usually a good thing if it's eventful, but there were occasions where I did not have so much fun.We had a lot ...

The short road to recovery, and a v-blog about school...

In my video blog, I decided to deviate from the norm and I barely talked about last week.  The first recording I did of my v-blog had me talking about it at a little extra length, but when I anal...

More bitterness...

Today was perhaps a blessing in disguise.  Nothing happened, basically.  No suicidial thoughts, no anger, no errors in judgement, just complete and utter boredom.  Am I still frustrated...

Why is everything going wrong!? Why am I so frustrated!?

I can't figure out exactly how many things have gone wrong for me over the past two days.  It's really frustrating.  Saturday sort of continued the funk that yesterday started up.Actually, t...

I don’t know what my subject should be...

Friday was a completely open day for me.  I had no school to worry about, no homework to worry about, and all I needed to have on my mind was Friday night.  Unfortunately, there was one flaw...
