About Me

I'm originally from Tamworth but I moved up to Scarborough in October 2006 after 8 years of living in Birmingham. I found living in a city to be pretty soul destroying, maybe it was just being in Birmingham 'cos I LOVE Manchester and I think if I'm honest with myself I probably regret not moving there instead of Brum. I miss being able to go clubbing at the drop of a hat and not having to travel to go to gigs but the quality of life is much better in a small coastal town. You don't get 24 hours a day noise and the sky at night is black, not orange. It's lovely to be able to see the stars and breathe clean air. Up until my current job which is Bus Driver I've always worked in record shops. The only reason for the change of career is that it's nice to actually get paid a wage that you can live on and support a family and friends. A lot of people would like you to think they are actually a lot more creative, interesting and unique than they are in real life. If you don't already know me only add me if you are INTERESTING! MySpaz attracts a lot of VERY SAD PEOPLE who just like to collect friends. Life is not a Pokemon game. My main love is for music of many different genres with the notable exceptions of reggae, drum 'n' bass and happy hardcore. Listening to or making the last two should actually be made a criminal offence. Oh yeah, ska, that's fucking shit too as is most old UK punk. Why listen to crap like Cock Sparrer or UK Subs when you can enjoy The Stooges, MC5 or The Misfits? Even now I'm miles away from any of the popular places for touring bands I always try to get out and see as many gigs as is possible. A lot of people who live here are pretty jaded about the place but as an auslander and a newcomer I reckon that there is nothing better than knowing that you can just walk along the beach or just stare at the beauty of the sea whenever you are not at work. My very closest friends I can count on one hand and I like it that way but I'm always happy to meet new people and share experiences with them...

My Interests

Listening to music and going to as many gigs as possible are my main interests. Meeting new people and making new friends. I'm also pretty much a total geek. I collect consoles and hand-held games and I also own a Neo Geo arcade cabinet which I love to pieces. I play bass pretty badly.
