The names Rachel , but alot of people do tend to call me Raquel!
I much prefer just 'Rach'.
At the moment im living at home in Atherton which is quite a boring little town to be honest.
I go to Salford University studying Hospitality Management
Please don't ask me what it is, im rather sick of being asked. Isn't it obvious?
I also have a part time job as a barmaid in Atherton pub Pendle witch. They call me witch Lyon of the north!!
My dream is to one day become a successful author which yes i know, is very different from my course choice and part time job, but im leaving my options open.
When im not at Uni or working i like to party, shop, go to gigs and basically live life to the full =]
I hate any form of sexism and believe my self to be a very strong woman in this male dominated world!
I hate girls that think men should pay for everything, like meals and little gifts all the time
Come on its the 21st century gals, get with the times!
It's like they don't realise that this stops women ever having a chance to become the more dominant sex!!
This infuriates me more than anything!!
Men will always have a hold over us. Im not saying all men are like this of course, but there still are too many that do believe they are above us and by allowing them to pay for everything and take control in a relationship, strengthens this belief even more!!

I proberly come across as a man hater but im not! I just wish i could meet one that would treat me equally to them , dont get me wrong i dont mind a man feeling the need to pay sometimes and be the stereotypical 'man' in the relationship, but why cant i have some status too!!

I have recently quit smoking and loving life a little bit more because of it! These days i like to keep drinking to a minimum too, but at the weekends i sometimes enjoy a few drinks...
My friends mean the world to me and they know it.. at least they should do!!
However im not very good at intimate relationships, committment scares me !! so i try to keep my relationships platonic
I do actually have a boyfriend now and although i find relationships can cause you to hurt like a knife stabbing into your heart, they can also do the exact opposite and it's always nicer when being faced with the negative, to look up to the positive! Ever the optimist i am =] Nick is perfect too because he doesn't ever treat me like he is dominant in the relationship or control my every move. We have a very equal relationship which makes me happier than when i first heard the wonders that are Fleetwood mac.
Oh and by the way i am 100% straight although many wish to believe im im BI
It has become a trend to be Bi , so im sticking with what i really feel and being different!

When it comes to TV i mainly just watch comedies. Mainly all the comedies shown on bb2 and channel 4.
Peter Kay and Ricky Gervais are legends! Without them i would be nothing
If humour didnt exist in this world i quite honestly honestly believe that everyone would shoot themselves ! Comedies are a huge part of my life... being almost as important as music is to me
I use to be a one trip pony.. but nowadays i am alot more open inminded when it comes to music!I listen to my ipod every day laying in my bed... it's like a realease from the world as it proberly is for everyone!
Reading is also quite important to me but usually i have litle time to do so, but having a sneeky read of my mothers library books is always fun =] I love romance novels.. not so keen on horror.
As ive noted, I adore writing whether its poetry, songs or writing short novels in my very rare spare time, its just something ive always loved to do and always will, to become a successful author is my life time ambition and it would be amazing to maybe one day be way up there with the brysons, cooksons, rowlings etc!
It is just a dream though, i do know that realistically it is a rather hard goal to achieve but a girl can dream eh? !

I like to socialise with friends, keeping up to date on the latest gossip!
oh and i loveeeee to day dream, just have thoughts running through my head all the time of quite extreme adventurous things, you'll never know whats going on in that big round fat head of mine...i just always seem to day dream about the most random things and sometimes get caught up in my own little world, a world i than sometimes prefer the to real life situation i might be in
