The independent record company Citadel Records was founded in Moscow in 1997 with the objective of bringing together the best Russian artists of electronic music. It became the first publisher to inform music community about the existence of the united Russian electronic music scene. Since then the creative union of Moscow Grooves Institute , Second Hand Band , That Black , Olga Noel , Eject Project , Dub Chairman , ULA , DSM Formation , RA/BА Mutantъ, Alexandroid , THE:HET and many others has been creating an up-to-date music wave appreciated both in Russia and abroad. The distinctive trait of the record label is the impeccable quality of studio work and the high professional level of the artists.
