I'm a spiritual, loyal, and educated young woman. Although a tomboy at the core, I've learned to embrace my femininity and the joys of being a woman. My life has taken me down unexpected avenues and I have embarked on an indescribable journey. The exciting part...it's just the beginning. I never cease to be amazed by God's mercy and unconditional love. Although undeserving, he continues to bless me beyond expectation. My life has been challenging, but has provided me with an unusual sense of gratitude for life and everything in it. It is paradoxical, but without the darkness of my past, I would not have the rare fondness and appreciation I have for life. Through it all, God has been my providence and continues to be my first love. I am very open-minded and accepting. My friends are few, true, imperfect and mine. I love them dearly and thank God that they accept me with all of my flaws. At times I've been called a raging liberal and animal rights radical, but I believe in speaking for the those oppressed and silenced by condition. When all is said and done....I'm simply Liz. My Interests

I love football (Miami Dolphins), track, and boxing (love that Ali)!!! Spirituality and humanitarian/animal rights efforts are cornerstones of my life.

I'd like to meet:

Ultimately, I'd like to meet God. In the meantime, anyone who can fascinate me long enough to keep my attention and someone who posseses the ability to be heroic in their daily life. Spirituality and positivity are contagious so bring that with you. I tend to 'keep it real' so I respect people who are not afraid to be themselves and remain steadfast to their personal truths.

Music:

I can appreciate music from almost any genre, but listen to gospel most of the time.

Movies:

Ali, The Program, Shawshank Redemption, A Time To Kill, Napoleon Dynamite, Dumb and Dumber, The Fox and the Hound...and an occasional Chick Flick! Also...anything Disney is a go! Can't hang with horrors though.

Television:

Love Real Time with Bill Maher, Will and Grace, The Contender, America's Next Top Model, Nip/Tuck and NFL football.

Books:

To be honest...I'm not a big reader. Most of my reading is biblical or spiritually centered.

Heroes:

Anyone who can love me unconditionally and without limits despite my shortcomings is a hero in every sense of the word. This being said, God is my ultimate hero and everything in this world to me. My mother, Muhammad Ali, Antwone Fisher, Florence Griffith Joyner, and Michael Jackson have also inspired me in various ways.
