About Me

Hey all. I'm Andrew (as if you couldn't tell already). I'm a pretty laid back kinda guy. Graduated May 05 from Crooms AOIT, completing high school... now attending SCC for pre-reqs and such before heading off to UCF. Coming up on my 20th birthday, and I'm still coming to terms with becoming an "adult" haha. I consider myself very fortunate for all I have in my life. I come from a great family that has always supported me in everything I do. I am happy to say I have a wonderful girl, and I have a great set of friends that are there for me too (team mnw! haha). All in all, I can't really complain.
I'm at that stage in my life where (along with many others) I'm just figuring things out for myself. It's great having a keen sense of self, along with the surrounding around me. I feel compelled to study sociology and psychology, along with political issues here and there... but nothing too deep lol. I'm not really sure what direction I want to lead myself in life yet, but I have this feeling it'll all work out.
As for interests, I love cars. I love working on mine, and admiring others. I love driving, and I don't think I'll ever be without a fun car. My 2003 Protege5 is my passion, and the consumption of most my funds unfortunatly. The only real sports I follow is college football. FSU is my team, and I'm looking forward to a new season with a renewed team. Traveling will always be a passion of mine that never fades (having been pretty well traveled for an 19yr old). Besides that, they'll always be those other little things that you just have to find out for yourself.
So I'm always up for meeting new people... send me a message or something; I'm not hard to get a hold of. AIM = Lasermp5.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Someone who will let me hold her and never let go. Someone who can empower me to do things I never thought I could do...

Music:

"My first recollection of Frank's voice was coming out of a jukebox in a dark bar on a Sunday afternoon when my mother and I went in, in search of my father and she said, 'Listen to that—that's Frank Sinatra and he's from New Jersey.' It was a voice filled with bad attitude, life, beauty, excitement, a nasty sense of freedom, sex, and a sad knowledge of the ways of the world... But it was the deep blueness of Frank's voice that affected me the most, and while his music became synonymous with black tie, the good life, the best booze, women, sophistication, his blues voice was always the sound of hard luck, and men late at night with the last $10 in their pockets, trying to figure a way out.”

-Bruce Springsteen

Movies:

BOBBY, Good Night and Good Luck, The Departed, original Star Wars trilogy, Syriana, Old School, Happy Gilmore, etc.

Television:

Don't really watch too much tv anymore. However, I will always be a huge fan of THE PRICE IS RIGHT, Fox's "24", Scrubs, The Drew Carey Show, The West Wing, F1 racing series, College football, and LOST... my current favorite

Books:

The Great Gatsby, A Land Remembered, The Audacity of Hope, and Maximum Boost! haha

Heroes:

The Mindless Menace of Violence

In lieu of the tragedy at Virginia Tech, immediately the words of the late Robert F. Kennedy came to thought. I hope that you will reflect upon them with me, as will anyone who dares to hope this day....

Wisdom from the man...

"I wish that one of these days somebody would learn to do [my art] so it doesn't die where it is." "Luck is fine, and you have to have luck to get the opportunity. But after that, you've got to have t...
