About Me
With the music industry at its all time high in demand for cutting edge talent, Miami's recording artist, Teddy J, is responsible for reviving R&B. Born and raised in Liberty City to an Egyptian mother and Irish father, he has been serenading since he could speak; astounding audiences at local shows, concerts, and major/televised events.
With his number one inspiration being Michael Jackson,
Teddy J has created his own sound influenced by the “King of Popâ€,
also giving him the title of a triple threat; being a sensational dancer,
soulful singer, and lyrical genius.
"Growing up, my mother felt as if I was to
idolize someone, he was the man to do the job.
When speaking about his idol Teddy explains,
“His will to be more than the average is what
caught my attention. For instance, if dancing
was poetry, Michael Jackson would be Shakespeare.
It's poetry in motion; he was able to bring art, paintings,
beautiful things that came from within to life, the stage,
and his audience."
While pursing his career Teddy J had the opportunity to
work with other artists such as: Akon, Chris Brown,
Danity Kane, Ciara, Devine Stevens, Atiba, Sammie,
Sisqo, and DJ Khaled. He was also blessed with
production by Eric Sanicola, "The Cutfather", J.R.
Hutson, and frequent conferences with the major
labels' Star Track, Slip N Slide Records and Murder Inc.
The murals Teddy J paints with his lyrics and dance
will soon be labeled as “masterpieces.†As he is
destined to take on the R&B/Pop world, he plans
on introducing to them a new level of entertainment
that has not yet been met. “I plan on taking the
world by storm. I want my music to touch future
generations. A never ending symphony.†With
that being said, if there’s one thing promising the
music industry has, it’s Teddy J.
