About Me
JBlaze, aka Johnny Erasme, knew that he wanted to be a professional dancer at 2 years of age, when he saw Michael Jackson perform live in concert. From that moment on, he began studying Michael’s moves and, with professional training from the age of 4, was on his way to fulfilling his dream. By the age of 12, Johnny was a serious triple threat (as a dancer, rapper, actor) when he moved to Los Angeles to pursue this career. Hailing from Miami, Johnny arrived with a rap demo in hand and as a star member of the 2002 Gold Medal World Hip Hop Championship team. Shortly after his arrival, he won the Best New Talent Competition in Los Angeles. Since that time, he has danced on such films as DreamGirls with Fatima and has been a featured actor in such movies as Wild Child, Prom Night, and Making a Dream. He has been a series lead in the Nickelodeon show, Dance on Sunset, as well as the TV specialsTribute to Smokey Robinson and Movies Rock. Johnny was booked guest spots on such shows as Everybody Hates Chris and Bones and has booked five National Commercials including National Campaigns for Verizon Wireless, Sears and JCPenney.
As a rapper, he has recorded dozens of songs as he continues to refine his style of rap, with cutting beats, classy moves and clean lyrics. He has been featured as a rapper on the Maury Povich Show, The Ellen Show and Good Morning, America. He has also toured the high schools and shopping malls in the Los Angeles and Ventura County areas where he developed such a following, a bodyguard was hired to keep the fans from mobbing him.
JBlaze is a force to be reckoned with. He’s got people all over LA dancing to his latest tune, “I Make the Party,†promoting the new dance movement, the Jerk!
