layout by ärriel © My name is laura I'm 27, ..I have a rare disorder called moebius syndrome and it affects the cranial nerves that controll facial movement, which in turn causes slight paralysis and a slight speech impairment as well...I am a survivor! I've survived rape and attempted murder so I know that deep down I am a strong human being I also know that I am as insane as one can get and often times a little cynical. The cyncism seems to be less and less though as of late.. Life has changed a lot for me in the time since I've written this. If I could say one thing about myself it would be that I'm in the process of finding my own way through this journey called life...The past year has been one of the hardest I've ever been through yet with the aid of music and good friends I made it/ I love my brother and miss him more than words could ever express.. I have a terrific family and wonderful friends. I am lucky, that's for sure!!! I love to laugh I am a joker and I love to make someone else smile as well as myself! I'd like to meet:

Mariska Hargitay and Diane Neal-These two women spend countless hours helping others...Mariska started a foundation for sexual assault survivors called The joyful heart foundation..http://www.joyfulheartfoundation.org/ Not only does she donate to causes monetarily ; she also gives something much more precious, her time...Both women do..which I find amazing because even in my laid back lifestyle I don't give enough time and these two work 16hrs a day, 6 days a week and manage to show up to lend a hand is amazing.
