Sounds Like: The Choro style is a meeting point between classical virtuosic melodies and Afro-Brazilian rhythms. The combination of acoustic sound and samba rhythms gives the Choro its special flavor. Born almost 150 years ago, it is the traditional music of Rio de Janeiro and still very much alive. In recent years its popularity has been growing rapidly, sweeping the streets and bars of Brazil.
The mixed Israeli-Brazilian Chorico musicians play a virtuoso combination of Choro classics and original compositions. The result is a joyful and energetic musical experience, a show full of excitement and groove.
