About Me

Fortunately, I am at the time in my life where I like who I am, what I do, and my attitude on life. My family and friends are number one on my list of priorities, and I cherish every day that I have time to spend with them or even just chat with them. Treasure the time you have with your family and make every day count. In the book 'For One More Day', it explores the idea of spending one more day with someone you love who has died. Even before this book was published, I could have written it, because in my head, I have always planned the day I would spend with my Mother if I had one more day with her.

My Interests

I enjoy being lazy, drinking coffee and reading the newspaper. I love to read (escape), a little gardening, whenever the mood strikes me, playing board games with Christopher many times over, enjoying Happy Family Day, quiet weekends with Art, the ongoing remodeling of our house, and sometimes I even enjoy work.

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet Kirby, my grandson Christopher's best animated video game character and his favorite stuffed animal, because he finds something real and magical in this character. And then on a real note, I would like to meet Joy Fielding, an author I enjoy reading, because she has such insight into women.

Music:

I like old time country, oldies like 50's, 60's and all of Willie Nelson, who makes me cry. My favorite all time is 'Angels Flying too Close to the Ground'
