About Me

..

I'm a regular guy who enjoys the company of his family and friends. I'm medically retired from the USAF after a botched appendectomy that cost 85% of the muscle beneath my right knee. Although unfortunate, this circumstance is what led me to my current path...which is something that I enjoy highly.
I live in Honolulu, HI, and am involved in the racing community through Drift Session , Formula Hawaii , and a host of other organizations dedicated to improving motorsports in Hawaii. I'm the Media Director for Drift Session, and produce all of their official videos, of which, I'm very proud of.

I dabble in everything from videography to web design to art and music. I'm pretty much a jack of all trades, master of none, if you get my drift (Hah!). I love to tinker with things, whether it's a flash animation, my RX-7, or my wife (*ouch...stop hitting me!*).

I'm also the current Co-Owner/Administrator of a new forum called "Hawaii Talks" which just opened up in February of this year. You can visit it at:

HawaiiTalks.Net

I'm also heavily involved in the Oahu Motorsports Advisory Council, which is dedicated to facilitating the construction of a new raceway in Hawaii. If you'd like to know more about it...please visit:

Build The Track!

Mahalo for visiting my MySpace page. Make sure to check out my videos in the Video Section!

Aloha,

Michael J. Kitchens

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Old friends...with new lives...my best wishes to all of them, and their future. May the heartaches they've experienced never outweigh the lives they've touched. You all have my deepest respect...it's hard knowing who you coud be until you find out just what you were.

Music:

Megadeth, Metallica, Bad Religion, The Darkness, 80's bands like Def Leppard and The New Cars, The Killers, The Editors, Tool, POD, Rob Zombie, GWAR, 311, Aerosmith, Garbage, NIN, Sting, etc.

Current bands like Breaking Benjamin & Evanescence, Classical, Jazz, J-Pop,..bla, bla, bla. Hell...pretty much anything that sounds good to me...I'm not picky and don't restrict myself to only one genre.
