About Me

My name is Matt Rector. I am the luckiest guy in the world, as I have found the meaning of my life at such an early age. I have an incredible woman in my life named Amber. She is the love of my life and makes me happier than anything or anyone has ever made me. The fact that I've found my other half at age 22 is an amazing feeling. I love love love music in all it's forms. I sing and play guitar in a metal band called Shedding Skin, and we're fucking awesome . I also have solo acoustic rock music that I do. Yea I know, acoustic rock band and a metal band, kinda weird. Well, that's me. Shedding Skin has played with some great bands and have been around for more than 4 years. I live in Alexandria, VA. I am into everything a guy my age in a band should be into. I love girls. I love parties. I love smoking weed. I love the Washington Redskins. I love going to concerts. I love playing concerts. I have 2 dogs named Smokey and Shadow that I love beyond belief. I love my family. I love my band, Nic, and Dave(you guys are my brothers). And last, but certainly not least, I love my fiancee, Amber, I love her so fucking much. I'm the happiest guy in the world, and that's saying something because theres some happy mother fuckers out there.
