Ellen

Ellen is originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia. She got her start in acting at age 10 on a Canadian TV show called "Pit Pony." Having played a number of varied roles on both television and the big screen, she's probably best known for her starring role alongside Patrick Wilson ("Angels in America") in HARD CANDY, which came out in 2004 and was directed by David Slade. She also played Kitty Pride in the blockbuster third installment of X-Men, X3.Her current movie - Fox Searchlight's JUNO - opens in select theatres on December 5th, 2007. She plays the title character Juno, a whip-smart teen confronting an unplanned pregnancy by her classmate Bleeker, who's played by SUPERBAD's Michael Cera. In seeking out the "perfect" parents for her unborn child, Juno faces some tough decisions, flirts with adulthood -- and ultimately figures out where she belongs.Despite her busy schedule Ellen enjoys doing the same things as most people her age, including: soccer, cycling, snowboarding, running and playing the guitar.
