Luisito Rosario is a young experienced salsa singer who is blessed with a beautiful voice, a charismatic and commanding stage presence, and Hollywood looks.Luisito was born with a bang and the fireworks that are common on the 4th of July. He was raised in Hoboken, New Jersey. He now lives in Allentown, Pennsylvania where he is focusing on his singing career.In 1996 Luisito joined the popular salsa band in New York "Grupo Hechizo" and recorded lead vocals in their CD "Sin Limites" which charted the Top Five of the New York City record pools. Luisito toured the Caribbean and the United State as Hechizo's lead vocalist.Luisito teamed up with Mambo City Music Ltd. in 2000 and launched his first solo career with "Jurame" showing his salsa roots. The CD includes arrangements by Cuto Soto and Lutcho Cueto whom has arranged for Marc Anthony and Tito Nieves.Now Luisito Rosario makes his comeback with a vengeance. This time he takes no prisoners! With this production, instead of looking toward the future, he focused on the past, bringing back to life the Salsa feeling of the 70's and early 80's. Sounds of the great masters, such as Tito Puente and Eddie Palmieri. However, he now incorporates sounds of the 21st century into his music.The past few years he has been traveling the world with Larry Harlow and the Latin Legends Band, performing music considered to be from the golden years of Salsa. He has shared the stage with Aldalberto Santiago, Yomo Toro, Ismael Miranda, Cano Estremera and Junio González to name a few.They recently performed in Caracas, Venezuela to thousands of salsa lovers. Luisito recorded "Tumba y Bongo" in 2002 for Larry Harlow's anniversary CD where he along with Nestor Sanch recorded all the background vocals.
