MOO. You bloody choir!

About Me

Pretty interesting so far. Once I graduated High School I had an emergency apen..omy about three weeks before I left for College. So my first few weeks of College (Emory and Henry College in SW Virginia) were painful. I entered college as an Opera Major. That was promising, but the summer between my freshman and sophmore year I was a camp counselor and one of my kids got me really really sick with some sort of throat infection. Needless to say I couldn't really sing anymore so I lost my financial aid at the school and moved back to NY. I worked for a while and went to SCCC for a semester then decided to try going back to school. Down to EHC again for a semester and realized it was just too expensive. Back up to NY for a few months then back down to VA again to live and work. Then I moved into TN to get closer to work. Lived there for about a year and a half. Then things with my roommate blew up so back up to NY where I went back to school at Stonybrook studying music and English. Yeah, that lasted a semester and I went back to work. I worked for The Gap as the stock manager and had about 32 guitar students. During my time teaching I was thinking about building guitars. So I moved to the desert to pursue my dream. This is where I met Kari. We met at a Grateful Dead cover band show and spent the whole time making fun of the spinning hippies. Good time. We've been inseperable ever since. The school that I went to (ROberto-Venn) for luthiery kept me on as an instructor and I did that for about 2 years. Then I got an oppurtunity to work in a popular repair shop around town. So now I do that part time and the school part time. I'm building custom guitars for people and am one of the best around if I do say so myself :) Kari and I live together in Mesa with our dog Kizzy (half Italian Greyhound and half Beagle) who is far too spoiled for her own good. We're getting married on Cinco de Mayo 2007. I told her that I wanted that date because on our anniversary, there would be hundreds of Mexicans shooting guns into the air. A gala event. So that brings me to today.
